Crown DrainZyme, 1 gal, 4/Case

CROWN DrainZyme is a bio-enzymatic maintenance liquid formulated for drains, grease traps and similar wastewater systems that accumulate food-related organic residues. It combines multiple strains of bacteria with an enzyme blend to help break down fats, oils, grease, starches and other food by-products. Regular use is intended to support drain and trap maintenance, limit organic buildup and help control odors between scheduled service visits. The manufacturer's technical data sheet describes a green liquid with a lemon fragrance and a biological formulation containing more than 250 billion microorganisms per gallon.

For preventive maintenance of foodservice drains, kitchen waste lines, grease traps and suitable septic systems. DrainZyme is a biological maintainer, not a replacement for mechanical clearing of solid objects or fully blocked drains.

Directions for Use

For manual grease-trap treatment, CROWN recommends 8–12 fl oz daily depending on trap size and food-soil load; dose late at night and leave the trap unused for at least six hours. For slow drains, the technical sheet directs pre-dilution of 8 fl oz before pouring into the line, followed by at least six hours without use, then flushing with hot water. For septic tanks, it lists 1 quart initially and 8 fl oz weekly for subsequent maintenance. Automated dosing should be set according to the manufacturer's service guidance.

Safety Information

The SDS does not classify this product as a hazardous mixture under OSHA HazCom. Avoid eye contact, store closed as directed and follow the SDS and label for safe handling. Do not mix with incompatible drain chemicals. If a drain is obstructed by plastics or solid objects, mechanical removal may be necessary.
