SIMONIZ Swell Grill & Oven Cleaner is an institutional-strength aerosol developed to penetrate and loosen baked-on grease, carbon deposits and stubborn food residue on manufacturer-approved commercial cooking equipment. Its dense, high-foaming spray helps the cleaner cling to soiled surfaces long enough to work on hardened buildup that resists routine wiping. The manufacturer identifies grills, ovens, rotisseries, drip pans and kitchen hoods among its intended applications. SIMONIZ describes the product as effective on hot or cold surfaces, but this does not override the aerosol's heat restrictions or safe operating procedures; the label and equipment instructions govern the allowable temperature and application method. The formula is strongly alkaline, with published pH information around 13.5 and an SDS identifying potassium hydroxide. It is a concentrated maintenance chemical rather than an ordinary countertop cleaner.

Recommended Applications

For compatible commercial grills, ovens, rotisseries, drip pans, cooking equipment and exhaust-hood components affected by carbonized food residue and cooking grease. Avoid aluminum, painted, delicate or other alkali-sensitive materials unless the actual container label specifically approves them.

Directions for Use

Follow the product label and the cooking equipment's safety procedures. Shut down equipment and eliminate flames or ignition sources before application. Protect surrounding surfaces, spray an appropriate amount onto the approved area and allow the label-directed dwell time. Agitate if needed, then remove the residue and thoroughly rinse food-contact areas as required before returning equipment to service.
